Ian Purchas Ian has over 20 years experience in the insolvency profession having been a principal in a large specialist insolvency firm for eight years prior to joining RMG Partners on 1 July 2008.Ian is a Registered Liquidator and an Official Liquidator of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and Federal Court of Australia. He involves himself in all aspects of an appointment to ensure every detail is considered. He applies the experience he has gained during his professional career to ensure the right solution is found for each matter and has an excellent rate of conversions to Deeds of Company Arrangement, usually resulting in the company’s continued trading and improved returns to creditors. Ian views the continuity of employees’ positions and directors’ involvement as integral in securing a successful outcome for creditors. |
Ian
has extensive experience in a wide range of industry areas including
building, retail, agriculture, financial services and technology.
Major insolvency administrations in which Ian held a senior role include
Burns Philp Trustee Co, Girvan, Equity Corp, Norman Ross Discounts
and Globite.
