Caring, Respect, Fundraising and Active Involvement

RMG Partners cares about the community and actively supports various charities through fundraiser events including dinners and golf tournaments.

Over the last four years we have been actively involved in supporting the following charities through major functions.

  • The Leukaemia Foundation
  • In 2005 and 2006 RMG Partners held a Sportsman’s Lunch to raise funds and awareness for the Leukaemia Foundation with over 120 guests at each function. Each event raised over $30,000. Our special guests over these two years included rugby great Nick Farr-Jones, Olympics Star Patrick Dwyer, Ex-Wallaby Legends Jason Little & Phil Kearns and Sports Writer Peter Fenton.
  • Special Olympics
  • Murray Godfrey is on the committee for the Special Olympics Sportsman’s Lunch. In 2007 and with approximately 500 attendees, raised over $150,000 to send the athletes to compete in Bejing in September 2007.

The 2008 function was held on 13 June 2008 with over 650 guests at the Darling Harbour Convention Centre with John Konrads as the MC and guest speaker Laurie Lawrence. For more details about this event please read this letter from Ian Hyman, Special Olympics Chairman, and visit the website www.specialolympics.com.au.
