With an accounting career spanning more than 20 years, Darren offers his clients extensive experience across all areas of accounting. Darren believes it is vital to take a holistic approach to business problems in order to identify the best possible outcome. He is driven to find creative solutions to clients’ complex business problems. His track record with business turnaround is impressive and further proof of his specialist expertise.

Prior to joining RMG Partners in 2008, Darren was the Managing Director of Business Recovery Solutions (BRS), a boutique business advisory firm. During his time at BRS Darren enhanced his expertise across all facets of business recovery and risk management, an increasingly specialised and complex field.

Darren holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Legal Studies & Accounting) from The University of Wollongong. He is an accredited adjudicator under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payments Acts (SOPA) and a Registered Liquidator and maintains memberships with:

• Institute of Chartered Accountants (Affiliate)
• Insolvency Practitioners Association of Australia
• LEADR – Association of Dispute Resolvers
• ASSOB – Australian Small Scale Offerings Board

After hours, Darren enjoys pulling on the yellow and black jersey of the Engadine Lions Rugby Union club, watersports and is a key supporter of the Cook Community Classic, the fundraising platform for the Sutherland Shire’s community groups and charities.
