With a career spanning more than 25 years, Murray Godfrey brings a solid track record in corporate insolvency, factoring and company management to RMG Partners' clients.  Murray is committed to uncovering cost-effective and innovative legal solutions to his clients' business issues.  He is also passionate about finding and developing talented people who are committed to delivering exceptional service to his valued clients.

Prior to founding RMG Partners with Ross Mottershead, Murray spent over 10 years working with large firms such as Arthur Andersen and Coopers & Lybrand in their insolvency and business recovery divisions.  With an impressive 21 years in insolvency firms, Murray has assisted a wide variety of clients in complex situations.  This has enabled him to develop extensive expertise in all aspects of insolvency and business recovery.  As well as a strong insolvency background, Murray has also worked in private enterprise occupying senior finance roles and as an account manager with a leading factoring firm.  This experience gives him a unique business perspective and ability to empathise with his clients.

Murray holds a Bachelor of Economics from Macquarie University.  He is a Registered and Official Liquidator, and maintains membships with the:

Australian Institute of Credit Management

After hours Murray is an avid golfer and swimmer.  He enjoys motor racing as a spectator and participant, and he's also passionate about aircraft and flying.
