With a career spanning more than 28 years, Ross Mottershead has extensive experience across all areas of accountancy, taxation and forensic accounting.  Ross is passionate about delivering exceptional results for his clients and making a difference in their lives.  His innovative and logical approach to business problems has resulted in substantial client portfolio.  Ross places significant emphasis on developing strong relationships with his clients in order to understand and anticipate their needs.

Prior to founding RMG Partners with Murray Godfrey, Ross was a principal in a Chartered Accounting firm for 4 years.  Over the years Ross has assited a variety of businesses across a range of industries to maintain compliance and maximise their financial potential.  His depth of expertise and ability to empathise with clients ensure he is able to assist them with complex issues and provide the right advice when it is needed most.

Ross attended the University of Western Sydney and holds a bachelor of Business, majoring in accounting.  He is a Registered Tax Agent and maintains membership with Institute of Chartered Accountants.

After hours, Ross is a dedicated father of four boys, as well as being highly involved in the Southern Districts Junior Rugby Union and is an avid golfer.  He also enjoys renovating the family home and spending time on the water, fishing and boating.
